Arcadia Publishing, Inc. has been developing custom dynamic applications and CMS systems on the Web since 1996. While maintaining hosting accounts for its customer base, Arcadia began developing a CMS management application that would empower the user to self edit and maintain a web account without the need of an experienced staff member.
After taking a direct interest in Arcadia's vision of website hosting & development, in the early Summer of 2001, Arcadia Publishing, Inc. was contracted by FJC, LLC to develop a CMS hosting system for its accounts.
The development project to build such a system for FJC was accepted by Arcadia and the system was dubbed the OptiEdit MCAD system. The purpose of the OptiEdit system was to empower the OptiEdit website customer the tools needed to effectively manage and edit existing content for their accounts within the OptiEdit MCAD CMS.
Since Arcadia's inception of a custom authored CM managment system for user hosting solutions to the OptiEdit project for FJC, Arcadia has continued to evolve its CMS development platform through the creation of the PageTrends CM management application. The newer versions of Arcadia's CMS can always be found at PageTrends.com. In the newer version of Arcadia's CMS web interface found at PageTrends, new revisions have been written to far surpass our previous CM technology.
Many new plug and play applications have also been written for the PageTrends CMS, including secure Equifax Ecommerce, Project management systems, Search Engine Optimization tools, Photo management systems and more.
Newer back ends have been developed to enable the user complete control to edit and optimize custom templates that can be used dyanmically within the account.
From the OptiEdit system developed by Arcadia Publishing, Inc over one year ago for FJC, LLC to its newest version of CMS found in the PageTrends CMS system, Arcadia continues to evolve its thinking for CMS technology and development.
All of Arcadia Publishings CMS sytems are compatible in code. Any customer who has purchased our CM managed applications in the past could adapt Arcadia's newer cms development at any time.
This backwards compatibility enables all users of Arcadia CMS systems to stay current with development should they decide to do so.
